On Memorial Day Weekend, Sunday, May 24th, 2026, the NCCPA took part in wreath layings at various memorial dedications across Newton.  NCCPA Chair Anthony “Fatty” Pellegrini secured the wreaths after the conclusion of the ceremonies.

NCCPA volunteers spent the day on Saturday, May 9th, 2026, installing nearly 90 flags and, new in 2026, pole banners honoring a few hometown heroes.   This years flags were sponsored by the NCCPA, flag poles by the St Mary of Carmen Society, and the banners by Kevin McNamara / Kevin Max Hair Designs.
