Thank you to the members of the Line Painting Committee for working with the city to restore the Italian flag lines on Adams Street and for helping preserve an important tradition in Nonantum.
Special appreciation goes to Committee leader Jason Cerone, Anthony Pellegrini, Dan Anderson, and Bo Pellegrini for their effort in moving this project forward. Their collaboration with Commissioner of Public Works Shawna Sullivan, Director of Transportation Nedd Codd, and the Mayor’s Office helped bring the work to completion.
We also thank Mayor Laredo for his commitment to making this project a reality and for supporting efforts that honor and preserve Nonantum’s traditions.
We also want to recognize the continued support and involvement of the Nonantum Children’s Christmas Party Association, Inc. and the St. Mary of Carmen Society. Their commitment to community tradition and neighborhood pride remains a vital part of what makes this effort meaningful.
This project reflects what can be accomplished when residents, volunteers, and city partners work together with a shared goal.
